Privacy Policy
Updated October 15, 2026. Short version: we collect what we need to make your videos, we sell nothing, and we have no idea who you are beyond your email.
Might find some jokes but the rules are real. This page describes what slop/acc inc. actually does with your information.
What we collect
- Your email, to sign you in and to find your account.
- Your files: the pictures, songs and videos you upload, the clips the models make, and your finished videos.
- What you tell the director (chat messages) and the plans and prompts for your videos.
- Your IP address, briefly, to limit sign-in attempts and stop bots.
- Purchase records: which pack, when, how much. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see them.
We do not collect your birthday, your star sign, or your opinion on accelerationism. Keep that for the group chat.
Why
To run slop/acc: sign you in, make and store your videos, charge for credits, prevent abuse and fraud, and fix things when they break. That is it. No ads, no selling or renting your data, no tracking cookies.
Who else touches it
We use a few providers to make slop/acc work. They process your data for us, only to provide their service:
- Cloudflare: hosting, file storage, sign-in email, and the bot check on the sign-in form.
- OpenRouter and the video model behind it (MiniMax Hailuo by default, or the model you pick: Kling, Google Veo, Runway, Alibaba Wan or xAI Grok Imagine): they receive the pictures, song slices and prompts for each scene, through links that expire.
- OpenRouter and HeyGen Avatar IV: only when you make a talking avatar, they receive that photo and its voice, through links that expire. With a Standard or Studio voice, OpenRouter and OpenAI's speech model read your script aloud. Free voices are made on your own device: the script never leaves it; the voice model is downloaded once from Hugging Face, and its code from jsDelivr.
- OpenRouter and Black Forest Labs' FLUX Video Edit: only when you recast one of your videos, they receive that video, through a link that expires, and a description of the new person; the director's language model reads your photo to write that description.
- OpenRouter and the language model behind the director (currently Anthropic's Claude): they receive your chat messages.
- OpenRouter and the transcription model behind it (currently OpenAI's Whisper): only when you click Find words, they receive that song's audio, in pieces, to send back its words.
- Are.na: only when you import a channel, we read it from Are.na and copy its pictures into your references. If you save your Are.na token, we keep it encrypted, use it only for your own imports, never show it back, and delete it when you remove it.
- Stripe: payments.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and elsewhere.
In your browser
Your sign-in key and your editor's autosave live in your browser's local storage, on your device. Clearing your browser data signs you out and forgets the autosave. No tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Your account, files and videos stay until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Sign-in and abuse logs are kept briefly. Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, at any time. The person responsible for protecting personal information at slop/acc inc. can be reached through the Contact page. Tell us your account email so we can find you.
Kids
slop/acc is for adults. If you are under 18, please go outside. It is nice out there, we have heard.
Changes
If this changes, the date at the top changes too.
